  • 10–12 years’ hands-on experience in truck and heavy vehicle maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel and petrol engines, hydraulics, electrical, and vehicle diagnostics. 
  • Leadership and supervisory skills to manage mechanics and support staff


Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead and oversee daily operations of the transport workshop.
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise over Engine, Spring, Electric, Painting, Denting, Vulcanizing, and Seat sections to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other automotive components.
  • Take immediate action in case of Vehicle breakdown on road or in case of any vehicle accident.
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all vehicles
  • Ensure timely servicing and roadworthiness of company truck and equipment.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory, raise requisitions, and ensure receiving of Quality full spare parts.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to all mechanic and workshop staff.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, services, and parts usage.
  • Prepare reports on vehicle performance, maintenance costs, and workshop productivity.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance and repair of trucks (Medium, and heavy of Diesel Engine).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in trucks.
  • Ensure timely servicing of engines, brakes, gearboxes, clutches, axles, steering, and suspension.
  • Any other tasks assigned by Management.
