Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure that the company's products reach the market at the right time through the designated distribution channels.
Set and implement monthly and annual distribution targets.
Maintain effective relationships with dealers, sub-dealers and distributors.
Recruit new dealers and evaluate the performance of existing dealers.
Ensure dealer compliance and adherence to company policies.
Coordinate with Production, Sales and Warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock of products.
Establish effective plans to prevent stock out or overstock problems.
Supervise transportation systems and control costs.
Ensure safe and timely delivery of products.
Reduce transportation-related risks and losses (damage, shortage).
Expand the distribution network by identifying new areas and markets.
Increase market coverage at village and upazila levels.
Provide distribution-related information and support to the Sales Team.
Prepare and analyze daily, weekly and monthly distribution reports.
Provide leadership to Distribution Officers, Area In-charges and support staff.
Arrange for team performance evaluation and training.
Ensure compliance with company policies, government rules and regulations.
Analyze distribution costs and adopt cost reduction strategies.
Effective route planning and resource management.
Provide regular reports to senior management.
Present distribution-related issues and improvement proposals.
