∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish, coach and guide the factory on a production process aligned to organizations policy deployment.
∎ Emphasize on a production process based on flow lines, product families, pull manufacturing and JIT rather than traditional push manufacturing.
∎ Proper utilization of automated cutters to get the optimum out of it.
∎ Establish ways to measure performance at each key transition points, frequent reviews, analyze problems, brainstorm, develop countermeasures, implement actions and continuously improve the standard.
∎ Systematic problem solving and continuous improvement drive at all levels of the organization.
∎ Create a culture of in-built quality and meet all key performance indicators such as zero down time, fabric savings, achieve budgeted efficiency/standard hours, FTT, PTP, OTP, Cut to Ship, Order to Ship etc.
∎ Give leadership and be an integral part of PCU/QCO/NPI to support sewing process.
∎ Manage the operations with utmost adherence to the local and international compliance requirements, prominence to safety and mutual respect at all levels.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 10 years' experience in Apparel Industry with at least 5 years' experience in a managerial position
∎ At least 5 years' experience in managing a sizable automated cutting facility as the Cutting Room In-charge
∎ Experience in Active Wear/Sportswear an knowledge on fabrics specially synthetics is essential
∎ Working experience in automated cutting room is a must and a double shift factory experience is highly desirable
∎ Strong leadership with sound communication skills
∎ Candidates with exposure to lean manufacturing will have an advantage
Salary: Negotiable
