Job Context:
∎ We are looking for an Experienced Production Manager for Biscuit Cookies Plant & Chocolate to drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes
∎ Department: Production- Biscuit, Cookies plant & Chocolate (Export Quality)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the hiring and training food production.
∎ Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth work operations
∎ Develop and promote new food products to boost sales and increase generated returns
∎ Set production objectives and implement action plans for achieving set targets
∎ Preparation of SOPs & Production flow chart.
∎ Set daily/weekly/monthly production target and achieve the target ensuring the quality standard.
∎ Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules as per requirements.
∎ Oversee the entire production process and ensuring maximum production with minimum cost.
∎ Follow up the hourly production rate and managing the employees involved.
∎ Reduce wastage of resources, minimize cost of production & improve efficiency of production.
∎ Coordinate with the Sales & Marketing, International Marketing, Accounts & Finance, Product Development, Quality Control & Supply Chain Management to solve product related complications as and when required.
∎ Check overall costing, consumption rate and ensure inventory control.
∎ Generate different reports on raw materials, finished goods and production proceedings.
∎ Check production output according to specifications and pass for the delivery as per the schedules.
∎ Communicate with management ASAP in case of any emergency in the plant/factory.
∎ Oversee the hiring and training food production.
∎ Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
∎ Develop and promote new food products to boost sales and increase generated returns
∎ Set production objectives and implement action plans for achieving set targets.
∎ Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and processed food products
∎ Ensure products and raw materials are stored properly at optimum conditions
∎ Planning and organising production schedules
∎ Assessing project and resource requirements
∎ Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
∎ Determining quality control standards.
∎ Overseeing production processes
∎ Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
∎ Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff
∎ Organising relevant training sessions.
∎ Any additional responsibilities as per the work requirement of the department time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 12 years of experience in a reputed company and Minimum 5 years as a production manager.
