• Develop and execute central planning strategies aligning with the company’s production and business goals.
• Plan and allocate capacity across multiple factories based on confirmed orders, forecasted demand, and seasonal trends.
• Coordinate with merchandising and marketing teams for order booking as per available capacity.
• Lead the master production schedule (MPS) preparation and ensure smooth order flow across cutting, sewing, washing, and finishing units.
• Track and control work-in-progress (WIP) across all stages to prevent bottlenecks or production delays.
• Develop and monitor Time & Action (T&A) calendars; ensure strict adherence to shipment deadlines.
• Coordinate with factory planning and production heads to balance workloads and optimize resource use.
• Work closely with the procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely fabric, trims, and accessories availability.
• Ensure synchronization between raw material arrival and production schedules to avoid idle time or shortages.
• Collaborate with logistics and shipping teams to ensure smooth outbound planning.
• Lead implementation and use of ERP / MIS / Planning software for real-time tracking of orders, capacity, and production progress.
• Maintain accurate data on efficiency, output, order status, and delivery performance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for top management with actionable insights.
• Lead and mentor a central planning team and factory-level planners.
• Standardize planning processes, templates, and best practices across all units.
• Build strong interdepartmental coordination and resolve planning conflicts effectively.
• Continuously improve planning accuracy and efficiency through process innovation and automation.
