∎ At least 10 years practical experience as cutting manager in any renowned woven garments industry.
∎ Have good leadership & motivational skill.
∎ Ready to work under pressure.
∎ Excellent command in English (Both oral and written).
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic and have a good personality.
∎ Good verbal, written & electronic communication skill.
∎ Self-motivated, responsible, and team player.
∎ Sharp IQ.
∎ Must have good command in MS- Office program.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement cutting plans based on production schedules.
∎ Ensure fabric utilization is optimized to minimize waste.
∎ Coordinate with the merchandising, fabric inspection, and sewing departments for a smooth workflow.
∎ Monitor cutting efficiency and implement improvements as needed.
∎ Follow up the cutting section whether achieve the planned quantity
∎ Review orders/styles/fabric types to to plan for table
∎ Request Fabric from Warehouse
∎ Ensure cutting accuracy and fabric alignment to maintain garment quality.
∎ Identify and solve defects or issues in cutting operations.
∎ Oversee and manage day to day operational activities of the Cutting section
∎ Utilize cutting techniques, machinery, and tools Properly
∎ Optimize cutting layouts to minimize fabric waste and reduce costs.
∎ Manage inventory of cutting tools, materials, and supplies
∎ Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
∎ Maintain accurate records of production output, material usage, and labor hours.
∎ Oversee the entire fabric cutting process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
∎ Develop and implement cutting schedules to meet production targets.
∎ Co-ordinate with merchandising, planning and CAD for smooth sewing line feeding and related job.
∎ To ensure that all cutting machinery are properly maintained and serviced, conduct regular inspections to ensure cuts meet design specifications.
∎ Supervise and train cutting staff on techniques, safety protocols, and machinery operations.
∎ Marker planning, calculating marker efficiency and work on saving fabric, also maintaining and recording cutting fabric consumption.
∎ Oversee fabric relaxation and consumption to prevent shortages or excess waste.
∎ Enforce safety guidelines and ensure all cutting processes adhere to company and industry regulations.
∎ Maintain accurate records of fabric consumption, cutting plans, and wastage reports.
∎ Provide regular updates to the production and management teams.
∎ Prepare and submit reports on cutting activities and team performance to senior management.
∎ Ensure Lay Inspection, Marking, and Cutting and Numbering properly.
∎ Ensure Bundling of the Cut panel Order wise.
∎ Ensure proper implementation of SOPs to minimize errors in cutting.
∎ Analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements for efficiency.
∎ Maintain compliance with factory safety and labor law.
∎ We are looking for a dynamic, highly experienced & capable Manager- (Central Cutting) who will be responsible for ensuring optimum efficiency, eliminating all type unnecessary operation & motion, reducing waste & maximizing productivity in our Central Cutting Department.
