Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide timely business reporting and information to the Gildan user community globally.
∎ Define the detailed BI architecture/strategy and evolve the BI infrastructure and tools to meet current and future needs.
∎ Provide day-to-day-operational support and direction to the BI team to ensure the timely availability of the business reports and provide support in solving complex technical problems.
∎ Works with enterprise wide business users and IT management to understand and prioritize data and information requirements.
∎ Optimizes the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools and processes.
∎ Designs and coordinates coaching/ training for customers and local IT staff in the use of business intelligence tools to enhance business decision-making capability.
∎ Develops standards, policies and procedures, testing methodology within a Software Development Lifecycle Process (SDLC).
∎ Develops data/information quality metrics.
∎ Researches new technologies and develops business cases in support of these new technologies
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Preferred 10+ years of experience of IT work experience in infrastructure/systems environments, systems planning, architecture design, hardware and software, and optimization.
∎ TOGAF certification or equivalent is an asset.
∎ Preferred 5+ years of experience as a BI Manager managing medium large BI implementations
∎ Strong BI and systems architecture experience, ERP experience is an asset ex: (JD Edwards)
∎ Strong Business Intelligence technical experience with multiple tools, applications, ERP and middleware tools ex: Qlikview, ODI, SSIS, DBMS, Oracle BI Suite, SQL server suite, etc.
∎ Strong analysis skills with structured methodology
∎ Management and team leadership skills
∎ Ability to define and document technical requirements for HW /SW /middleware systems architecture. Also has experience with H/W and S/W system configurations.
∎ Strong communications skills with the ability to summarize technical jargon to business communications
