Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
∎ Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
∎ Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
∎ Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
∎ Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
∎ Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
∎ Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
∎ Leads solution development efforts that best address end user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
∎ Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
∎ Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
∎ Build and strengthen relationships with partners
∎ Lead the development of partnership strategies that align with product and business goals and create the partner management framework to implement and manage these strategies
∎ Source, structure, and negotiate deals with existing partners in pursuit of product and business objectives
∎ Understand our partners’ strategic priorities, challenges, and internal roadmaps; regularly communicate insights and strategic recommendations to Stripe product stakeholders
∎ Track, analyze, influence, and communicate key metrics to support ongoing partnership management and identify new opportunities to fill product gaps or create net new business opportunities that deliver value to Stripe users
∎ Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market Partnerships, Product Marketing) to identify and implement growth opportunities
∎ Design and implement strategies and processes that will enable us to scale our consumer payments partnerships and increase our velocity as a team

Additional Requirements:
∎ Crafting and implementing channel sales strategies to meet monthly sales quota
∎ Developing and maintaining partner and prospective partner relationships
∎ Negotiating contracts and growth plans with current and prospective channel partners
∎ Ability to use leadership and sales acumen to train and develop sales staff
∎ Ability to use analytical skills to analyze Key Performance Indicators to determine the health of a channel partner relationship.
∎ Experience in partnerships, business development, or similar role at a high-growth technology company, working closely with other technology or fintech companies on platform or product partnership efforts
∎ Strong agency, can handle ambiguity in a fast-moving organization, and thrives on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
∎ Exceptionally strong communication skills, in both verbal and written form, and ability to influence stakeholders across a wide variety of functions
∎ Humility and leads by example, setting the right context and helping teammates do their best work
∎ Technical acumen, especially an ability to understand product strategy and use this understanding to define requirements for scaling products and operations through partnerships
