Responsibilities & Context:

Develop and Execute Sales Strategy

  • Design annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans.

Implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.

  • Identify new market opportunities and expansion areas.

  • Set Sales Targets and Monitor Performance

  • Establish territory-wise and team-wise sales targets.

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.

  • Analyze sales data and prepare performance reports for management.

  • Lead and Manage the Sales Team

  • Recruit, train, and supervise RSMs, ASMs, TSOs, and Sales Executives.

  • Provide coaching, motivation, and performance feedback.

  • Conduct regular sales meetings and field visits.

Distribution and Channel Development

  • Appoint and manage distributors and dealers.

  • Expand market coverage and ensure product availability.

  • Strengthen relationships with key accounts and partners.

  • Market Analysis and Competitor Monitoring

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies.

  • Provide market feedback to management for strategic decisions.

  • Develop promotional campaigns and trade offers.

Revenue and Collection Management

  • Ensure achievement of revenue and profit targets.

  • Monitor outstanding payments and manage credit control.

  • Maintain healthy cash flow through effective collection strategies.

Forecasting and Planning

  • Prepare sales forecasts and demand planning reports.

  • Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability.

Reporting to Management

  • Present sales performance reports to the CEO/Managing Director.

  • Recommend strategic improvements based on data analysis.
