Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive growth and profitability in the group insurance segment, aligned with the company's overall business goals.
∎ Lead and manage the group sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the achievement of targets and objectives.
∎ Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company's presence in the group insurance market, including targeting new industries, sectors, and client segments.
∎ Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, brokers, consultants, and other stakeholders to maximize business opportunities and foster long-term partnerships.
∎ Oversee the development of innovative and competitive group insurance products and services, collaborating with product development, underwriting, and marketing teams as needed.
∎ Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to anticipate challenges and opportunities in the group insurance landscape.
∎ Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the group sales function, optimizing processes, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
∎ Prepare and present regular reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
∎ Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing the sale and administration of group insurance products.
∎ Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance the company's reputation and build networks within the insurance community.
