∎ At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance. FMCG, or supermarket & Chain Market industry.
∎ Prior experience in the retail/super shop sector will be highly preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain and oversee daily accounts operations including cash flow, ledger, journal entries, and bank transactions.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement).
∎ Ensure timely closing of accounts and financial statements.
∎ Prepare annual budgets in coordination with the senior management.
∎ Monitor budget implementation and variances provide financial forecasts and recommendations.
∎ Monitor stock movement and support inventory valuation in coordination with the Store and Procurement departments.
∎ Ensure accurate cost accounting and identify areas for cost reduction.
∎ Ensure proper deduction, deposit, and reporting of VAT, AIT, and other relevant taxes according to NBR guidelines.
∎ Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
∎ Manage supplier payments, credit terms, and receivables follow-up.
∎ Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and reconciliations of payables and receivables.
∎ Develop and enforce internal accounting policies and procedures.
∎ Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure process integrity and fraud prevention.
∎ Oversee accounting modules in ERP/POS systems used in the Super Shop.
∎ Support system upgrades and financial data integrity.
∎ Lead and supervise the accounts team ensuring high performance and timely deliverables.
∎ Coordinate with Store Operations, Procurement, HR, and Admin departments for smooth financial functioning.
