A strong interest in learning about development issues and the consultancy sector.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bangla.
Good computer skills, particularly in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Ability to conduct internet-based research and communicate professionally through email, online meeting platforms, and mobile communication.
Strong analytical, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn proposal writing, fundraising, research, project management, and consultancy-related assignments.
Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.
Willingness to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel and work anywhere in Bangladesh when required.
Job Responsibilities
The Management Trainee will be expected to:
Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn through a hands-on approach.
Maintain a positive attitude toward development and consultancy work and demonstrate readiness to face professional challenges.
Develop professional skills in fundraising, business development, proposal development, and project management.
Assist in preparing Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Concept Notes, Research Proposals, Tenders, Quotations, Technical Proposals, Financial Proposals, and Project Proposals.
Assist in the preparation and compilation of project reports, research reports, technical documents, and other assignments.
Support field-level implementation, monitoring, and documentation of projects.
Contribute to the development, maintenance, and updating of Management Information Systems (MIS) and project databases.
Participate in qualitative and quantitative research, surveys, assessments, field studies, FGDs, KIIs, interviews, and other data collection activities as required.
Assist in data compilation, analysis, presentation, and preparation of reports.
Support administrative activities, budgeting, bill and voucher preparation, filing, record keeping, and project documentation.
Participate in meetings, workshops, training programs, consultations, and other organizational activities.
Undertake extensive field visits and assignments anywhere in Bangladesh as required for professional and development learning.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management in line with organizational requirements.
