Responsibilities & Context:
Based in Bangladesh, Interstoff is a widely recognized export-oriented textile and clothing manufacturer. Knitted, colored, printed, embroidered, and stitched composite materials are produced by this 2002-founded company. Building, implementing, and managing a compliance standard for an organization.
Create sound internal controls and monitor.
Implementing the buyer`s code of conduct and the local labor laws.
Compiling and providing the board with succinct and understandable compliance reports.
Communicating on compliance-related matters with authorities.
To inspire staff members to uphold all forms of personal safety.
Follow factory management`s recommendations and provide internal training on OH&S, EMS, fire safety, grievances, etc. to all employees.
Monitor the department`s daily operations by providing enough assistance and carrying out any additional duties that are delegated by superiors.
Supervising the application of the workers` employment standard.
To keep an eye on the floor to check for any concerns related to compliance.
Conducting all training issues is done timely for newly hired workers.
Any other duties that the management assigns.
