• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in can seaming operations (tin or aluminum).

• Knowledge of double seam structure and defect troubleshooting.

• Basic mechanical and tool-handling skills.

Reports to: Line Manager

Job summary: Responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining Tin container Seaming machines to ensure proper seam quality and production efficiency in line with the company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate seaming machines for different can sizes.

• Monitor seam quality using tools like seam micrometers and countersink gauges.

• Adjust machine parameters to correct seam issues (loose seam, cut-over, false seam).

• Perform routine checks and maintenance on seaming equipment.

• Ensure proper lubrication and cleanliness of the machine area.

• Follow safety and quality control procedures strictly.

• Record daily production data and downtime reports.

• Coordinate with QA for regular seam inspections.

• Report machine issues promptly to the maintenance team.
