Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in management/ Business Adminstration
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Close collaboration with Finance, Programmes and the Logistics teams in order to carry out smooth operations within NRC Bangladesh.
∎ Ensure procurements are completed in compliance with NRCs & Donor's Policies and procedure.
∎ Ensuring proper set up and management of the electronic logistics filling on Office 365. PR Tracker and hard copies. Ensure that all files are complete, correct and include all relevant documentation to meet audit requirements.
∎ Close coordination with the tender committee to; organize meetings, sharing information, facilitating evaluation process, documenting meetings; advising on procurement guidelines and communication with bidders.
∎ Use of the agresso tool and KPI's to monitor and prepare monthly procurement report.
∎ Provide support in market surveys and assessment at CO, AO's and FO's levels.
∎ Train, induct and follow-up with support and Programme team on Procurement Process and Agresso Procurement steps and process.
∎ Review of monthly logistics reports - fleet usage, generator usage, asset and inventory registers and procurement report, before submitting to Country Logistics Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Have previous experience as Logistics Officer / Procurement Officer in humanitarian/ development context, minimum two years.
∎ Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
∎ Strong experience in MS Office (excel, work, PowerPoint, etc.)
∎ Previous working experience with procurement systems
∎ Knowledge of Chittagonian is an added advantage
∎ Knowledge about own leadership skills.
∎ Documented results related to the position's responsibilities
∎ Knowledge of English and Bangla, both written and verbal
