Job Responsibilities:
∎ Accountable for the administration, operation, and direct management necessary to achieve stated objectives in guest/associate life safety, sanitation/cleanliness, equipment safety, and guest service satisfaction.
∎ To become a licensed lifeguard, in order to deliver the necessary skills such as water rescues, First Aid, and CPR when needed. Skill levels must be audit ready at all times in order to exceed the highest standards of safety.
∎ To understand and follow Park Standard Operating Procedures, water Slides manuals and Emergency Actions Plans in order to have in-depth knowledge of the operational requirements and protocol.
∎ Ensure all Lifeguards uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
∎ Responsible for monitoring, recording, maintaining paperwork such as: incident reports, rosters, water quality, park security, daily slides check lists etc.
∎ Responsible of Scheduling Swimming Activities/Classes for guests according to booking procedures of the Property
∎ Assists with maintaining a safe aquatic area(s) which may include providing work direction to staff, providing real time feedback and noting suggestions and comments to the General Manager
∎ Coordinates lifeguard and park security placement and rotations during shift to ensure efficient guarding and safety.
∎ Serves as first level contact responding and documenting incidents which may occur when other lifeguard staff need assistance.
∎ Provides quality customer service to members and participants.
∎ May assist with implementation of in-service training sessions.
∎ Follow Emergency Action Plan and Procedures when required
∎ Ensure Privacy of Guests and maintain Confidentiality as per Company Policies.
∎ Maintain communication with colleagues within the department and other Managers
∎ Perform other duties assigned as per Senior Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Good verbal and written communication skill in English
∎ Physically perform all skills required of a lifeguard.
∎ Hear noises and distress signals in the aquatic environment, including in the water and anywhere in the zone of responsibility, with or without reasonable accommodations.
∎ See and observe all sections of an assigned zone of responsibility, with or without reasonable accommodations.
∎ Demonstrated ability to recognize swimmers in need of assistance.
∎ Demonstrated ability to recognize, respond and remedy unsafe situations.
∎ Ability to work with diverse populations and ages.
∎ Ability to serve as a positive role model and provide constructive feedback.
