Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking.
∎ Measure and weigh ingredients accurately.
∎ Cut, chop, and peel vegetables and fruits.
∎ Marinate and season ingredients as directed.
∎ Follow recipes and cooking techniques as instructed by senior chefs.
∎ Operate basic kitchen equipment such as ovens, stovetops, and grills.
∎ Monitor cooking times and temperatures.
∎ Ensure food is cooked to the required standards.
∎ Keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times.
∎ Wash and sanitize utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
∎ Dispose of waste properly.
∎ Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen appliances.
∎ Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation.
∎ Notify senior chefs of low stock levels.
∎ Proper storage of ingredients to maintain freshness.
∎ Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow.
∎ Communicate effectively with team members.
∎ Follow instructions and guidance from senior chefs.
∎ Adhere to health and safety standards.
