Experience:

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

• Master of Law (LLM)

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

• Solid Court/chamber practices experience 10 years.

• In-house counsels from Banks Legal Division will get preference.

• Enrollment in Bangladesh Bar Council is a must.

• Highly skilled in Computer operation including MS Word and Excel is a must.

• Sound typing skill in both Bengali and English are a must.  

• Filing various cr. cases/civil suits against defaulter clients and attending court cases. Monitoring and following up cases/suits pending before subordinate courts and High Court Division.

• Scrutinizing legal notice, reply of legal notice, plaint, auction notice, various petitions etc. to be filed before various subordinate court and High Court Division.

• Reporting of updated position of the cases/suits status to the management and regulator (Bangladesh Bank, Ministry of Finance etc.) as a routine matter.

• To pursue law chambers and or court officials for collection of the copy of court process, any interim order and the certified copy of judgment and decree within shortest possible time.

• Scrutinizing the credit related property documents and drew up legal opinion for management decision.

• Identifying lapses, forwarding the observations with wanting documents to the Branches and concern stakeholders.

• Conduct searching of the authenticity/legality of property documents in the concerned govt. office, like Sub-Registrar/AC (Land) office.

• Any other task assigned by competent authority for the interest of the Bank.
