Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Understanding the regulations and laws governing the aviation industry, including international treaties like the Montreal Convention and Warsaw Convention.
∎ Understanding the cultural nuances and legal implications of different travel destinations
∎ Familiarity with legal research tools and travel industry software
∎ Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with airlines, travel partners, and clients
∎ Identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with airline operations and travel services
∎ Ensuring the agency complies with aviation regulations, safety standards, and data protection laws
∎ Ability to cope with work pressure.
∎ Analytical acumen capabilities and ability to interpret laws (including Acts, rules, orders, guidelines etc.) under relevant jurisdictions. you need to be familiar with several key laws and regulations. So, you need to have excellent knowledge on:
∎ Capacity for meticulous legal research; Excellent communication skills etc.
∎ Language Fluency: Fluent in written and spoken English is essential.
∎ Candidates having a good IELTS/TOEFL/PTE will get extra advantage.
∎ Managing your time effectively to meet deadlines and handle multiple cases simultaneously is essential
∎ Familiarity with legal research tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw can enhance your efficiency and effectiveness.
