Practical experience in handling labor, commercial, contractual, and shipping/logistics-related cases.
Enrollment as an Advocate of the Bar Council will be preferred.
Strong command of corporate, labor, and commercial law with excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
Provide legal advice and support on all company matters including contracts, agreements, leases, and compliance issues.
Represent the company in all legal proceedings related to corporate, commercial, labor, vendor, and customer disputes.
Handle labor and employment-related cases before labor courts and relevant authorities; advise on HR and industrial relations matters.
Pursue and manage cases relating to money realization from customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Manage legal issues related to shipping, logistics, transportation, and customs operations; ensure compliance with trade and maritime laws.
Draft, review, and vet legal documents, notices, and correspondence to protect the company’s interests.
Liaise with external lawyers, regulators, and government bodies; monitor the progress and outcomes of legal cases.
Advise management on legal risks, policy implications, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
