Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary:

The lead sales Trainer is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing training program to enhance the skills and performance of the Walton Mobile Sales Team. This role involves creating engaging training materials, conducting workshops and seminars, and providing ongoing coaching to ensure sales representatives are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to meet and exceed sales targets.

Learning & Development Role ( % of Time: 70%)

1.Training Development:

  • Design and develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules.
  • Tailor training programs to meet the needs of various sales roles and levels.

2.Conduct Training Sessions:

  • Facilitate engaging training workshops and presentations.
  • Utilize various training methods such as role-playing, simulations, and group discussions.

3.Performance Evaluation:

  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics.
  • Adjust training methods and content based on evaluation results.

4.Coaching and Support:

  • Provide one-on-one coaching to sales representatives to improve their sales techniques and address specific challenges.
  • Mentor new hires and support their onboarding process.

5.Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on product offerings and industry trends to ensure training content is current and relevant.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to align training with business objectives.

6.Sales Strategy Alignment:

  • Work closely with sales leadership to align training initiatives with company goals and sales strategies.
  • Assist in developing sales processes and best practices.

7.Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain training records and documentation of all training activities.
  • Prepare reports on training effectiveness and participant progress.
