∎ Three years Diploma in Medical Technology from any recognized institution.
∎ Any third division/class in academic career will lead to ineligibility.

Job Context:
∎ The Leprosy Mission International-Bangladesh (TLMI-B) is implementing a TB Control Project for"Integrated Tuberculosis Care and Prevention, for Enhancing Case Findings, Health System Strengthening and Sustainability", supported by GFATM under The Danish Bangladesh Leprosy Mission Hospital Program (DBLM) of TLMI-B invites application from the suitable candidates to fulfill the following position immediately.
∎ Job Nature: Contractual (Project based fixed term at least 2 years).
∎ Based: Thakurgaon or Panchagarh (frequent field visit).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ a) Planning:
∎ Participate in planning of laboratory set up and quality assurance planning of the laboratory
∎ Plan and prepare annual and quarterly logistical requirements for the laboratory.
∎ b) Implementation:
∎ Strengthen government health system for integrated TB control and prevention services
∎ Promote government ownership and stewardship for implementing TB services
∎ Maintain essential safety measures for infection control in the laboratory
∎ Maintain optimum standard in smearing and microscopy following the SOP and guidelines.
∎ Ensure maintenance of microscope and other laboratory equipment's as per the SOP and guidelines.
∎ Ensure availability of anti-TB drugs, reagents and other logistics at the laboratory.
∎ Maintain optimum standard of Gene X-pert site.
∎ Optimum utilization of Gene Xpert and follow the SOP and guidelines.
∎ Support in EQA and slide-rechecking.
∎ Ensure hygienic disposal of waste materials.
∎ Conduct 4 outreach smearing centre at the field level, in every month.
∎ Ensure regular drugs and diagnostic supplies to Volunteers/DOT providers.
∎ Ensure DOT through follow up every patient and the DOT provider.
∎ Maintain contact investigation register for active case findings & refer presumptive to nearby diagnostic facility.
∎ Ensure appropriate storage of drugs and logistics to maintain optimum quality.
∎ Actively participate in monthly and quarterly meetings.
∎ Any other job as required by the project.
∎ Assist govt. MT (Lab) at UHC lab, whenever necessary.
∎ c) Monitoring, supervision and coordination:
∎ Maintain regular coordination with government and related stakeholders.
∎ Periodic monitoring of the Laboratory (for EQA Technician).
∎ d) Reporting and dissemination:
∎ Record results in respective forms and register and report promptly to the requesting staff.
∎ Ensure complete and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting as per the guideline.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 01 year of experience in related field and/or area of health program operation.
∎ Knowledge on TB and Leprosy.
∎ Good Interpersonal, oral and written Communication skill.
∎ The candidate should be willing to drive motor cycle and equipped with a valid driving license

Salary:
∎ Monthly Consolidated Salary BDT. 18,500.00
