Responsibilities & Context:
- The chemist will be responsible for analyzing raw materials and final products, optimizing the manufacturing process, ensuring quality control, developing new formulations, and managing environmental safety and standards.
- Maintain coalescences between feed formulations, Optimization (Poultry/Cattle/Fish), and feed production. Conduct routine lab tests of feed and raw materials samples to determine quality & composition.
- Assist in the preparation of samples & chemicals for analysis, ensuring accurate measurements & procedures. Document & report test results clearly & accurately, maintaining meticulous records.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives & contribute to laboratory optimization. Implementing QA parameters, standards, and procedures that align with industry's best practices and organizational requirements.
- Collaborate with the technical team (Head office) about feed formulation and performance. Quality control of raw materials and finished Feed. Forecast vs. Achievement Report (Feed).
- Handle Customer complaints regarding any product and service of the company.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports and provide updates to management in a timely manner. Maintain quality systems and pass quality audits.
- Handling customer complaints about Feed. Monitoring product performance feedback. Feed and ingredients analysis. Other relevant tasks are assigned by the management from time to time.
