Job Context:
∎ Program Evidence, Advocacy, Research & Learning (PEARL) Unit
∎ 1 position, based at CARE Bangladesh Dhaka Office
∎ The duration of the proposed contract is up to Two years from the date of joining with a possible scope of extension.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Knowledge Management & Learning Coordinator is overall responsible to lead the development and implementation of the Knowledge Management and Learning (KML) Framework and Plan for CARE Bangladesh, which will include work on knowledge systems & processes, technologies and organizational culture, to enable the organization to fulfil its ambition to be a learning organization, that uses evidence and learning from its humanitarian and development work to multiply its impact.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 7 to 8 years' professional experience with at least 5 years' experience in senior management position in Knowledge Management and Learning field.
∎ Good Graduate degree or higher in any discipline
∎ Experience in developing or managing KML plans and strategies
∎ Excellent understanding of concepts of Knowledge Management and Learning for development
∎ Strong understanding of gender issues in Bangladesh and commitment to promoting the empowerment of women and girls
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Strong facilitation skills of learning, reflection and planning processes
∎ Demonstrable experience of publishing high quality reports and articles
∎ Good knowledge of relevant software
∎ Excellent team player and building relationships
