∎ A master’s degree in economics, Development Studies, Business Administration, Communications, English, International Relations, or any other relevant discipline.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge management system to organize, collect, and store key documents, templates, and resources, and archive project information, including reports, case studies, success stories, lessons learned, and best practices.
∎ Ensure that knowledge resources are easily accessible and up to date.
∎ Inform Project Manager-M4Y about quality, and impact on a regular basis.
∎ Initiate and lead periodical reviews of result chains and MRM plans.
∎ Identify, curate, and disseminate relevant knowledge resources to staff and stakeholders.
∎ Develop and distribute regular newsletters, updates, and knowledge-sharing communications.
∎ Facilitate integration of KM in MRM system·
∎ Develop capacity among external stakeholders, to play an effective role in the KM processes.
∎ Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance staff capacity in knowledge management practices.
∎ Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff in utilizing knowledge management tools and resources.
∎ Identify and address knowledge gaps and training needs among staff. Collect primary & secondary information through FGD, CCM, KII, and literature review.
∎ Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration across the organization.
∎ Facilitate dissemination of Programme’s progress during various events.
∎ Review progress of this portfolio (with extensive field visits if required) and provide necessary guidance to the relevant stakeholders to achieve project goals.
∎ Update the management regularly of challenges faced in implementation of the project activities and jointly device mitigation measures.
∎ Liaise with other projects, organizations, and networks to share knowledge and learn from their experiences.
∎ Represent the MSD project in external knowledge management forums and networks.
∎ Foster partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance knowledge exchange.
∎ Lead and coordinate the development of high-quality narrative proposals and budget, concept notes including designing logical frameworks setting realistic and measurable targets, writing, editing, and formatting ensuring all proposals meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance.
∎ Collaborate with experts and stakeholders to gather necessary information and inputs for proposals.
∎ Conduct research to identify funding opportunities and gather relevant data to support proposal development and manage proposal development timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines.
∎ Analyse donor requirements and ensure proposals align with their priorities and guidelines.
∎ Track and report on the status of proposals, maintaining a repository of past proposals and outcomes.
∎ Review and edit proposals for clarity, coherence, and consistency.
∎ Ensure that the Project tracker/Funding Grid is updated regularly and shared with management and relevant teams in the country office.
∎ Systematically develop the capacity of programme staff on project development and management standards by providing training on project design, development, implementation and budget management, the preparation of donor proposals and reports, o budgets, recording and charging of expenditures, managements of budgets and Muslim Aid’s internal procedures regarding external funding.
∎ Required to travel to project locations and field offices as and when required.
∎ Maintain constructive, purposeful, trust and sincere relations with all colleagues working above or under whether directly or indirectly associated.
∎ Update management and others concerned with any development, internal or external, which can be of help to improve quality, provide better services and effective working.
∎ Participate in all meetings, committees, forums, projects, and assignments as required and expected.
∎ Ensure Muslim Aid’s compliant with Core Humanitarian Standards, SPHERE standards, etc.
∎ Comply with all policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements.Any other duties commensurate with the post.
∎ Job Purpose:
∎ Muslim Aid-UK Bangladesh Country Office (MABCO) is implementing a three-year project titled Making Markets Work for Youths (M4Y) considering market system development approach to contribute to systemic change. The overall aim of this project is the inclusive economic empowerment of youth in selected areas through the development of market systems. The Knowledge Management Coordinator (KMC) will play a crucial role in capturing, organizing, and disseminating knowledge and best practices within a Market System Development (MSD) project. The KMC will ensure that valuable insights, lessons learned, and innovative approaches are systematically documented and made accessible to project staff and stakeholders, thereby enhancing the project’s effectiveness and impact.This dual-role position is responsible for managing the organization's knowledge resources and supporting the development of compelling proposals to secure funding and partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
