• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD, Sketchup).

• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, materials, and construction methods.

• Good knowledge of building bye-laws, codes, and approval procedures.

• Excellent visualization, creativity, and detailing skills.

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary of motivation.

• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

• Honesty, sincerity, foresightedness and hardworking is must for the position.

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions.

• Must be in sound health condition.

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance during office time.

Currently, Luminous Engineering is looking for Diploma Civil Engineers and Diploma Architects to join its growing team and contribute to its ongoing projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing architectural drawings, layouts, and working plans as per project requirements.

• Coordinating with structural, electrical, and civil teams to ensure design accuracy.

• Developing detailed designs, 3D models, and presentation drawings for clients.

• Ensuring that designs comply with building codes, regulations, and local authority guidelines.

• Conducting site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design compliance.

• Preparing and reviewing BOQs, material specifications, and cost estimates.

• Making necessary design adjustments based on site conditions and client feedback.

• Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors for project execution and approval.

• Ensuring aesthetic, functional, and sustainable design outcomes.

• Maintaining project documentation and assisting in project scheduling and reporting.
