Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have a L.L.B degree from a recognized educational institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide legal counseling regarding legal matters/issues to the refugees and follow up and conduct mediation session for dispute resolution within the refugees and follow up
∎ Organize and conduct awareness session within the refugee community, refugee leaders and religious leaders. Assist refugees to visit their relatives in the prison.
∎ Draft FIR, GD, Complaint etc. and file the same with the relevant police station and follow up
∎ Intervention with law enforcing agencies in order to rescue victim/survivors as needed and Conduct monitoring visits to detention centers and interventions made to release individuals from detention including legal support where appropriate
∎ Responding to cases of SGBV, trafficking, abduction, violence and other cases, particularly focusing on emergency response to grave offences at camp level as needed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure and Legal Assistance Guidelines on respective issues.
∎ Record keeping & reporting- register maintain/ form fill up /file maintain in systematic fashion. Prepare report in timely manner and be submitted to the supervisor and closely coordinate his/ her work with coordinator.
∎ The other additional job responsibilities are to be assigned as and when required as per the direct instruction of the supervisor/organization
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ The candidate must have minimum 1 Year of experience in relevant field operations
∎ The candidate must have computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
∎ The candidate must be fluent in English and Bangla languages.
∎ Capacity to communicate in and understand local Chittagonian dialect will be treated as additional qualification
Salary: Tk. 52000 (Monthly)
