Job Summary
The Junior Executive – Industrial Engineering (IE) will be responsible for improving production efficiency through accurate time studies, line balancing, capacity planning, and productivity enhancement. The role requires close coordination with Production, Planning, and Quality teams to optimize manpower, machinery, and methods for achieving production targets.
Responsibilities:
Manage the IE process in a 100% export-oriented garments manufacturing factory.
Review production plans to ensure capacity alignment and on-time shipment.
Ensure daily production targets are met as per the production plan.
Prepare and maintain SMV database for all styles.
Conduct time and motion studies for all styles.
Ensure effective line balancing according to layout.
Optimize utilization of man, machine, and materials.
Prepare weekly NPT (Non-Productive Time) reports and ensure reduction measures.
Review operators’ skill levels (monthly) and propose training programs as needed.
Prepare reconciliation reports for each order.
Conduct quarterly worker assessment reports for skill and performance development.
Prepare combined production reports for fabric, cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, finishing, and shipment.
Maintain effective communication with the supply chain team to ensure smooth workflow.
Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
