Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in implementing and maintaining security controls to safeguard the organization's computer systems, networks, and data.
∎ Collaborate with senior cybersecurity professionals to assess vulnerabilities, identify potential threats, and develop appropriate solutions.
∎ Engage in ethical hacking techniques including reconnaissance, scanning, and exploitation to find security holes and evaluate the effectiveness of current security measures.
∎ Assist in managing security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and antivirus software.
∎ Keep an eye on network activity and security records to spot and address security incidents.
∎ Support the implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices throughout the organization in a timely manner.
∎ Plan, design and Implement SIEM / NMS / EDR based solutions for Endpoint Monitoring.
∎ Grant permissions and privileges to authorized users.
∎ Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging threats, and new security technologies through research and continuous learning.
∎ Work together with cross-functional teams to guarantee that security measures are successfully incorporated into the network infrastructure.
∎ Analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
∎ Document security processes, procedures, and incident reports.
∎ Develop and implement information security standards, guidelines, and procedures.
∎ Assist in the development of AES’ Cyber Security System.
∎ Work very closely with AES Software Development team
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Having strong Knowledge of networking concepts, operating systems, and basic security principles.
∎ Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or a similar role, specifically focusing on network security infrastructure and penetration testing.
∎ Strong knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and security technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP).
∎ Hands on Experience on setting up configuration or deployment of any NMS, EDR, Webserver, VPN or Reverse proxy is much preferred.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, together with the capacity for both tactical and strategic thought.
∎ Has to be enthusiast and must be a fast learner to cope with new challenges according to company demand.
∎ Strong ability of documentation
