Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Linux Server Administrator with hands-on experience in WHM, cPanel, CLI (Command Line Interface), and overall Linux server management. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our web hosting infrastructure, supporting clients, and ensuring server security, uptime, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain WHM/cPanel servers (CentOS, AlmaLinux, or other RHEL-based distributions)
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize services (Exim, Apache, Nginx, MySQL, etc.)
- Monitor server performance, load, and resource usage using CLI tools
- Implement and manage firewalls, backups, SSL certificates, and DNS zones
- Respond to server issues, abuse reports, and client tickets
- Apply updates, patches, and security hardening best practices
