Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all over welfare activities as per Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Labor Rules 2015 & 2022.

  • Prepared for any kind of compliance audit as per buyer COC & standard.

  • Arrange routine welfare meetings and Training, such as Orientation, Grievance, OHS, etc.

  • Ensure grievance management system .

  • Establish effective both way flow of communication between management and workers and hold consultations with a view to maintain harmonious relations between the management and workers.

  • Look after the provision of amenities such as dining, adequate wash room facility, drinking water, etc.

  • Advise and brief workers on the proper use of PPE, machine guard, sanitation, fire safety and others health and safety related issues.

  • Maintain compliance as per compliance guidelines and company policy.

  • Conduct awareness training programs on rules and regulations as per Buyer`s Code of Conduct & law of the country.

  • Conduct orientation for new employees.

  • Organize , TU, SC and Grievance meetings, preparing minutes and circulating.

  • Take care of workers, special care of pregnant & injured workers.

  • Counseling and follow up pregnant workers.

  • Ensuring Maternity benefits as per Labor Law.

  • Update to management all compliance reports in regular interval etc.
