Experience:

Information Security and GRC Management:

• Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity.

• Install and maintain security software like firewalls and encryption.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.

• Investigate security breaches, determine their cause, and lead the response efforts.

• Develop and maintain plans to ensure business continuity during and after a security incident.

• Stay informed about the latest IT security trends, new hacking techniques, and emerging threats.

• Implement security upgrades, new security software, and integrations. 

• Perform formal penetration tests on web-based applications, networks and computer systems, Mobile Apps

• Data mining of log sources to uncover and investigate the anomalous activity

Network Administrator:

• Manage and monitor the Bank’s nationwide network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN systems.

• Ensure continuous branch, sub-branch, and ATM connectivity and troubleshoot network issues.

• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and other network devices.

• Implement and monitor network security solutions (Firewall, IDS/IPS, NAC, VPN, and Content Filtering).

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank ICT policies and internal IT security standards.

• Coordinate with telecom service providers for link uptime and issue resolution.

• Maintain updated network documentation, configurations, diagrams, and asset records.

• Support business continuity, DR activities, and high-availability configurations.

Server and Storage Administrator:

• Install, configure, manage, and maintain Windows Server, Linux/Unix servers, virtualization and HCI platforms (Openstack/openshift/proxmox/VMware/Hyper-V).

• Monitor server performance, storage, CPU/memory utilization, and ensure high availability.

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and authentication services.

• Implement and manage backup solutions, perform recovery tests, and maintain DR readiness.

• Apply server patches, updates, and ensure security hardening as per internal policies and Bangladesh Bank ICT Guidelines.

Database Administrator:

• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Ensure database performance, availability, and reliability for Core Banking, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, ATM Switch, and other critical systems.

• Implement database backup strategies, perform regular backups, and ensure successful restore and DR synchronization (DC–DR).

• Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries, indexing, and storage structures.

• Implement database security controls including roles, privileges, encryption, auditing, and access management.

• Maintain proper documentation of database architecture, changes, backups, and security configurations.

• Collaborate with development, system, network, and security teams for application deployments and stability.

Fintech, CBS & Digital Banking Analyst:

• Support the design, development, and enhancement of digital banking platforms including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Agent Banking, Cards, and Payment Switch systems.

• Assist in project management for fintech initiatives, API integrations, and digital product rollouts.

• Collaborate with ICT, Business, Compliance, and Risk teams to implement new fintech solutions aligned with Bangladesh Bank guidelines.

• Conduct business and technical analysis for digital products such as QR Payments, e-KYC, Wallet, Real-time Payments, and Open Banking APIs.

• Monitor digital service performance, transaction flows, uptime, and customer usage behavior.

• Prepare requirement specifications (BRD/FRD), user manuals, and process documentation for digital services.

• Ensure digital banking operations and products comply with Bangladesh Bank PSD, ICT Security Guidelines, AML/CFT, and internal policies.

Software Developer / Programmer:

• Develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications following secure coding practices.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design system functionalities.

• Implement software enhancements, automation scripts, and integration with APIs, payment gateways, and core banking systems.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development, UAT, and production environments.

• Prepare technical documentation, system specifications, and version control updates.

• Support DevOps pipeline, CI/CD processes, and application deployments.

• Work on digital banking, mobile apps, internet banking, fintech modules, and backend services.

Computer Hardware Engineer:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops and other ICT devices.

• Support servers, network devices, and virtualization hardware in DC/DR environments.

• Manage ICT hardware procurement, inventory, asset tagging, and lifecycle management.

• Coordinate with vendors for warranty repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.

• Maintain documentation and ICT asset registers.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank ICT Guidelines and internal policies.

DC/DR Engineer: 

• Monitor and maintain DC/DR facilities including . 

• Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and incident response.

• Manage access control, environmental monitoring, fire suppression, and power redundancy.

• Support BCP/DR drills, failover testing, and replication verification.

• Maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and incident logs.

• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, upgrades, and service contracts.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank ICT Guidelines, ISMS, and internal audits.
