Experience:

• Bachelor of Law (LLB) in Law

• Preference be given to candidate having Bar-at-Law, LL.M, PhD, or other higher specialized degrees in law.

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

• Minimum of 5 years of job experience in the legal division/legal team of a bank or financial institution, along with at least 10 years of experience in handling legal Issues.

• Demonstrated capability to lead and manage the Legal Division effectively.

• Formulate and implement effective legal policies, strategies, and procedures to ensure the expeditious settlement of pending loan-related cases.

• Provide strategic legal guidance to the bank management ensuring compliance with Bangladesh Bank Regulation and guideline and other laws.

• Oversee legal affairs including litigation, contract management, dispute resolution

• Provide legal opinions to the Board, MD, and senior management on all legal matters

• Oversee and manage all litigation, including: Artha Rin Adalat (investment recovery cases) Civil, criminal, and writ cases

• Vet, draft, and approve all legal documents, including: Investment agreements, Contracts and MoUs

• Identify and mitigate legal risks in banking operations and new products of the Bank.
