Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent.
∎ Candidates with CCNA will be given preference.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Serve as Tier 1 support for student and faculty/admin staff computer related issues at any ITS Service Desk.
∎ Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the academic computer labs and academic classroom.
∎ Assist students with use of the student print management system.
∎ Assist students with the troubleshooting and repair of both recommended and non- recommended laptop computers and related peripherals. Escalate such issues as necessary.
∎ Assist faculty and admin staff with the troubleshooting and repair of laptop/desktop computers and related peripherals. Escalate such issues as necessary.
∎ Troubleshoots and assists with difficulties experienced by faculty, admin staff and students regarding technology in classrooms, office desks, labs, eSmart Cards and other media equipment.
∎ Install, configure and troubleshoot surveillance systems.
∎ Install, configure and troubleshoot IP telephone systems
∎ Install, configure and troubleshoot access control systems.
∎ Install, configure and troubleshoot time attendance systems.
∎ Prepare reports as suggested by Service Desk Coordinator and/or the Manager of ITS.
∎ Input and properly assign issues into the ITS ticket tracking system.
∎ Assist ITS staff with resolving and managing tickets in the ITS ticket tracking system.
∎ Assist with the inventory management and maintenance of ITS equipment.
∎ Assist ITS staff with other projects and tasks as assigned.
∎ Maintain a professional and organized work environment.
∎ Assumes additional responsibilities as may be determined by the Service Desk Coordinator and/or the Manager of ITS.
∎ Completing all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 1 years of experience in ITS service desk is preferable but not mandatory.
∎ Strong verbal and written presentation skills.
∎ Excellent command on both oral and written in English and Bengali communication skills.
∎ A positive attitude and willingness to learn and follow instructions is required.
∎ Excellent communication skills and ability to manage in a customer service environment.
∎ Ability to proactively manage assigned workload and to execute tasks in a timely manner.

Salary:
∎ As per University policy.
