Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provides the first line of support for users either calling in or emailing.
∎ Takes calls and emails from end-users that need assistance throughout the day to troubleshoot help desk ticket issues,
∎ this includes working with on-site and remote users
∎ Investigates user problems and identifies their source; determines possible solutions; test and implements solutions
∎ Troubleshoots applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties
∎ Manages the Helpdesk and suggests enhancements in process and procedures
∎ member Helpdesk tickets submitted
∎ Assists with network and PC preventive maintenance logging efforts and company antivirus to ensure data integrity
∎ Works with setup and installation of equipment to include; PCs/laptops, printers, desk phones, etc.
∎ Builds and maintains images to deploy for new user laptops and PCs
∎ Coordinates daily requests such as adding/deleting users, maintaining email groups, and other miscellaneous IT
∎ requests
∎ Test new software applications and recommend purchases where appropriate
∎ Develops, writes, and maintains end-user documentation
∎ Maintains confidentiality about the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the end-user on the network
∎ After normal-business-hours support is required
∎ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
∎ Advanced knowledge of switching, routing, and VLANs'S
∎ Advanced knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP
∎ Configuration of wireless systems and ability to install/maintain equipment
∎ Ability to terminate Cat6 ethernet cable.
∎ Thorough knowledge of Windows 10 operating system.
