Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Position will be responsible for managing fleet, the hospital and office facilities in Teknaf, procurement, Warehousing, assets and inventory as well as the general daily operational activities including WASH, IPC, Security, Power Supply, IT for IRC's COVID19 Response Program. This position requires attention to detail, accountability, flexibility, creative thinking and ability to meet deadlines.
∎ Will work with close proximity to Clinical Lead in the areas of health service delivery and supply.
∎ Support the Procurement and Logistics Officers in conducting procurement processes as per IRCs procurement and donor guidelines.
∎ Monitor the procurement tracker, procurement plans and supplier database to ensure they are regularly updated and accurate.
∎ Participate in various coordination meetings and report to Covid 19 Response Director.
∎ Manage all daily fleet movements of vehicles, including training drivers and maintaining driver schedules and rosters.
∎ Oversee general management of the warehouse and pharmacy at the hospital.
∎ Oversee the general admin management of the hospital facilities.
∎ Develop and conduct internal trainings on key operations topics.
∎ Provide technical and operational support to staff, as well as advise on application of procurement and operational best practices, systems and procedures.
∎ Oversee goods and assets received in Isolation Hospital and ensure proper documentation and systems are followed for their movement and tracking.
∎ Maintain a centralized asset register; ensure that all office and program assets are logged. Ensure all assets are issued with unique IRC asset number, ID tag and are tracked and provide oversight to field operations asset management.
∎ Prepare monthly logistics reports as needed (procurement, Inventory, fuel usage reports, contract and lease trackers, assets and GIK etc.).
∎ Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 8 year of experience in Logistic/Operation including years in the similar role.
∎ Experience of working with UN Agencies or Non-Governmental Organizations.
∎ Very good skills MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point.
∎ Advanced leadership, team building, project management, networking and advocacy skills are required.
∎ Excellent skills and proven track record of managing multi sector emergency response and recovery program.
∎ Experience of working in refugee context is an added advantage.
∎ Excellent skills and proven track record of external representation and coordination.
∎ Experience of managing oversight of logistics, procurement, administrative and financial functions, ideally as part of the management of field base.
∎ Excellent inter-personal and problem solving skills and proven ability to negotiate with a wide range of people (internally and externally).
∎ High energy, and able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
∎ Ability to work independently and maintain flexibility in an environment where change or revision to projects and planning is regular.
∎ Good understanding and experience of managing staff safety and program security in dynamic environments.
∎ Cultural and gender sensitivity, adaptability, willingness to travel.
∎ Excellent command over English and Bangla language.
∎ Chittagonian is highly desirable.
