Experience:
A Master`s degree in Business, Policy, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably (but not required) in the field of environmental sustainability or public health.
Demonstrated experience in commercial product development and launch.
Experience working with NGOs and private sector companies is highly desirable.
Strong Project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Intervention Specialist/Coordinator
This Randomized Control Trial (RCT) project aims to identify a commercially successful business model innovation aimed at reducing the recycling rate of lead-acid batteries used in electric three-wheelers in Bangladesh. This initiative seeks to mitigate lead poisoning, decrease CO2 emissions, and alleviate poverty in the country. In this position, you will work closely with teams from BRAC Microfinance and leading Lithium and Lead battery manufacturers in Bangladesh, as well as the research teams from Georgetown University and Stanford University to oversee the implementation of the business model within an RCT framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Intervention Design and Implementation:
Oversee the whole process of implementation of the intervention.
Work closely with BRAC Microfinance and leading Lithium and Lead battery manufacturers in Bangladesh to ensure interventions are contextually appropriate and effectively implemented.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Act as the primary liaison between BRAC Microfinance and leading Lithium and Lead battery manufacturers in Bangladesh, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate communication and coordination among project partners to ensure seamless execution of project activities.
Organise and lead meetings, workshops, and training sessions for stakeholders and participants.
Coordinate with the sales team of Lithium and Lead battery manufacturers to ensure effectively marketing campaigns, and timely and accurate delivery of the batteries.
Integrate efforts with the microfinance group at BRAC to align project goals and activities.
Address any issues or discrepancies related to battery delivery and protocol adherence.
Conduct stakeholder analysis and identify potential and relevant stakeholders across the public and private sectors.
Initiate, maintain, and nurture engagement with relevant stakeholders outside the organization.
Field Activity, Data Collection and Analysis:
Oversee overall intervention implementation in the field among different field teams.
Oversee the field protocol implementation in the field, and the data collection process to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Monitor and ensure that the field teams are adhering to the established protocols and guidelines.
Collaborate with the research team to analyse data and evaluate the impact of interventions.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on intervention progress and findings.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Develop and implement a monitoring and evaluation framework to assess the effectiveness of interventions.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the implementation of interventions.
Identify challenges and propose solutions to improve the effectiveness of interventions.
Capacity Building:
Provide training and support to staff and stakeholders on best practices for environmental sustainability and worker health in the lead acid battery industry.
Develop educational materials and resources to enhance understanding and implementation of interventions
Salary
BDT 100,000 - 150,000 per month, based on skills and experience.
