  • Experience with financial management in a multi-donor environment.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in financial management software such as SAP, Oracle Financial Services, QuickBooks and similar tools.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Manager of Accounts and Finance to oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and audit preparation. This role will ensure that the organization’s financial health is sound, transparent, and in alignment with our strategic goals. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of non-profit financial management, donor compliance, and the intricacies of managing funds in a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning s Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization’s mission and strategic objectives. Lead the annual budgeting process and work closely with senior management.

  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports for internal use, board meetings, and external stakeholders, including donors and regulatory bodies.

  • Budget Management: Oversee the preparation and monitoring of budgets for projects and the organization. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve financial health.

  • Grant Management s Compliance: Monitor donor grants and ensure compliance with donor financial guidelines. Prepare financial reports for donors and funding agencies.

  • Audit Coordination: Lead the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and successful completion. Ensure all financial records are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Cash Flow s Risk Management: Manage the organization’s cash flow, forecasting financial needs, and identifying potential financial risks. Implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure sustainability.

  • Team Leadership s Development: Supervise the finance and accounts team. Provide training, mentorship, and career development opportunities for the team members.

  • Policy Development: Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and systems to enhance organizational efficiency and control.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the financial liaison for the organization, maintaining relationships with donors, partners, and other stakeholders.
