Role Overview
The International Student Counsellor plays a key role in guiding students who wish to pursue higher education abroad. This position involves advising students on suitable courses, universities, and study destinations, while supporting them throughout the application and visa process. The counsellor ensures accurate information, timely follow-ups, and a high-quality student experience in line with organizational standards.
The role requires strong communication skills, a student-centric approach, and a thorough understanding of international education pathways and admission procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students on international education options, including universities, courses, and destinations
Guide students through application, admission, and enrollment processes
Provide accurate information on visa procedures, documentation, and deadlines
Maintain student records and follow up on leads
Coordinate with international partner institutions and internal teams
Participate in student events, seminars, and promotional activities
