• Minimum 2 years’ experience in internal audit, preferably in the garments / textile / manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, audit procedures, and compliance requirements in RMG.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to prepare clear, concise, and actionable audit reports.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across finance, commercial, HR, and production teams.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and a proactive approach to identifying risks. 

The Internal Audit Officer will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance across all functions of the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) operations. This position requires strong auditing knowledge, hands-on factory exposure, and the ability to identify risks and recommend improvements that align with the company’s growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute audit plans covering financial, operational, and compliance areas of the RMG business.

• Conduct pre-audit and post-audit of all types of local purchase orders, service bills, and vendor payments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Perform monthly stock audits (raw materials, trims, work-in-progress, and finished goods) and report discrepancies.

• Carry out payroll audits including personal files, wages, overtime, earned leave encashment, final settlements, and statutory benefits (e.g., maternity).

• Undertake factory floor and office audits—scheduled and surprise—to assess process compliance and identify gaps.

• Review and monitor production process, wastage, and resource utilization to ensure efficiency and cost control.

• Prepare and submit comprehensive audit reports with findings, risks, and corrective action recommendations.

• Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs, buyer requirements, industry standards, and local regulatory laws.

• Support management in developing risk mitigation strategies and continuous process improvement.
