Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Business Studies/ Management or related area
∎ Recent Graduates (maximum 6 months)

Job Context:
∎ GIZ Bangladesh is currently seeking applications for the position of "Intern" (focuses the area of Administration) from candidates who are attending a course of further study of which the completion of an internship is an integral component or have graduated no more than six months before commencing the internship.
∎ Internship Duration: 6 Months (maximum)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will work under the general and overall supervision and guidance of the Head of Logistics. In order to fulfil his/her tasks, s/he will work in close coordination with one designated Administrative Specialist.
∎ The incumbent is responsible for:
∎ Assisting by implement goals and requirements set by the line manager
∎ Support in Support in purchase / sell / Registration for private vehicle and driving license
∎ Support in Liaison with External stakeholders (All ministries, Airport, VISA, NBR, Customs, SB, NSI, BRTA, ERD, Bangladesh Bank, DESA, DESCO, TNT, City Corporation, etc.)
∎ In this context, the position holder fulfils the following tasks:
∎ Tasks:
∎ The position holder handling administrative task, support in day-to-day administrative task.
∎ 1. Expatriate support Services:
∎ Support to prepare relevant documents for expatriate support services
∎ Support to prepare relevant documents for External stakeholders (All ministries, Airport, VISA, NBR, Customs, SB, NSI, BRTA, ERD, Bangladesh Bank, DESA, DESCO, TNT, City Corporation, etc.)
∎ Support in day-to-day administrative works
∎ Develop and maintain a filing system
∎ Support in Liaison
∎ 2. Liaison with External stakeholders
∎ Driving for Liaison purposes
∎ Support to Vehicle sale-purchase, Registration, legal documents update
∎ Liaison with External stakeholders (All ministries, Airport, VISA, NBR, Customs, SB, NSI, BRTA, ERD, Bangladesh Bank, DESA, DESCO, TNT, City Corporation, etc.)
∎ Assist the admin team in implementation of task as and when necessary
∎ 3. Other duties / Additional tasks
∎ Assist in any other task as and when necessary and assigned by supervisor.
∎ Support the team in any additional tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
∎ Learning Area:
∎ Office Administration

∎ Capacity development approach
∎ Negotiation skills

Additional Requirements:
∎ Eager to learn and work with various activities of administration processes
∎ Willingness to get familiarized with GIZ's Code of Conduct
∎ Good working knowledge on ICT (email, internet and computer applications e.g. MS Office, Teams, Outlook etc.)
∎ Good command of English (written and verbal)
∎ Strong Communication Skill
∎ A good team player
∎ Ability to work on own initiative
