Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelors' Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media & Journalism, Public Relations, Management, Sociology, English Language or Literature from any recognized academic institutions with some relevant experience.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure development of qualitative and effective communication materials (print and electronic media, verbal etc.), both in English and Bangla - by ensuring appropriate and correct use of language and grammar- following guidelines and ensuring their necessary dissemination to internal and external stakeholders for branding, marketing and communication as advised by the management.
∎ Respond to the messages, comments and queries related to the social media and websites, and hence strengthen engagements and insights of the official pages and channels of UCEP Bangladesh.
∎ Assist in organizing national and international events according to the Annual Event Calendar for the purpose of building and maintaining relationship, fundraising and brand visibility as required and requested.
∎ Communicate with relevant departments and undertake field visits, to regions and other entities of UCEP Bangladesh to ensure proper collection of contents and information for Annual and General reports, documents, success stories, news, press release, brochures, newsletters, promotional literatures, diaries, calendars, booklets, leaflets etc. from regions within the deadline.
∎ Assist the team in accomplishing administrative and functional tasks as and when required.
∎ Render necessary assistance and share relevant information to facilitate sustained and effective linkages with external stakeholders that would greatly serve the interest of UCEP Bangladesh in getting funding, endorsement, connection with government agencies & private sector, etc.
∎ Network with at least five prominent media house/journalists monthly through visits, communication over phone and email, before and after an event.
∎ Write press releases and ensure regular media coverage of UCEP Bangladesh's activities in national dailies as required and advised.
∎ Record keeping of the departmental documents, progresses and update the supervisor on upcoming events and activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Bangla and English;
∎ Experience in building linkages and network, communicating with existing clients
∎ Knowledge and experience on managing social media platforms
∎ Versatility and multi-tasking ability to accomplish departmental goals
∎ Knowledge of Development Sector terms, language and style;
∎ Excellent in fundamentals of computer skills;
∎ Ensure periodic follow up and undertake result-based actions
∎ Adaptable and flexible
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate and work with diverse people;
∎ An effective contributor to the team
∎ Industrious and enthusiastic to learning.
∎ Ability to maintain higher level of confidentiality and professional ethics.

Salary: Negotiable
