Job Context:
∎ Inclusive livelihood opportunity for Covid-19 affected households in three districts of Bangladesh is a one-year project under Muslim Aid UK, Bangladesh Field Office (MABFO) which aims to equip its technical and vocational institutes with more resources to train community members and help them gain the skill they would require getting into a job. The development of skills can contribute to structural transformation and economic growth by enhancing employability and labor productivity of the community during Covid-19 situation. Investment in a high-quality workforce can create a virtuous cycle, where relevant and quality skills enable productivity growth which result in more and better jobs for the current workforce and more public and private investment in the non-traditional skills. This project will facilitate Muslim Aid Institute of Technology (MAIT) in Jashore, Rangpur, Mirpur and Mohammdpur under MABFO to increase the employability and productivity for both the current and future workforce.
∎ This 12 months project will take the initiative to increase livelihood opportunities for youth and families across 3 districts in Bangladesh, by supporting MAIT in Jashore/Rangpur/Mirpur/Mohammadpur through updating their facilities, delivering 12 livelihood training modules, alongside additional business materials for selected trades, conducting a job fair, supporting beneficiaries with covid-19 materials, conducting a covid-19 impact study on the TVET sector, and providing cash grant to selected families.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Teaching how to set up an e-commerce website from inception to execution
∎ Provide training to develop and implement ecommerce strategy in order to improve website performance and how to improve website speed
∎ Provide training on how some can set up their online business from home or a warehouse
∎ Helps student to learn the way to oversee or directly manage digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing and social media
∎ Training students on re-platforming website to new CMS, making website mobile capable
∎ Teaching how to analyze various data in order to deliver data driven strategies in order to deliver top performance and achieve kpis
∎ Train the students to develop content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing pages development
∎ Train how the marketing team works in a particular company or how to manage digital marketers in order to improve quality and traffic acquisition
∎ Teaching how to manage a diverse service environment, operations for good service, service quality and customer satisfaction.
∎ Training how to monitor and maintain proper functionality of the website.
∎ Training how to observe the sales, promotions, marketing and social media activities over digital platforms.
∎ Training how to operate and maintain existing IT networks based on the standard operation procedures of a particular company.
∎ Training how to prepare insights report on the data-mining outcome.
∎ Teaching to promote good service performance.
∎ Teaching to provide specialized knowledge and insights to the development of technology strategy.
∎ Teaching how to track and report the business outcome of data-driven insights.
∎ Help the students to research market in order to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance
∎ Utilize innovative classroom techniques and methodologies that involve students in challenging learning opportunities;
∎ Prepares class sessions and assignments to help students grasp course content and how it integrates with overall student learning outcomes for the course
∎ Observe and evaluate student performance in meeting course objectives and learning outcomes through assignments, projects, discussions, or examinations; provide feedback in a timely manner on student progress
∎ Maintain records of enrolment and attendance, assessments and grades, submit class rosters and grade sheets by the deadlines established by the MAIT
∎ Meet with the Principal as needed to discuss all aspects of the course including student progress and curriculum development (may be required to provide input into program development)
∎ Undertake monitoring and assessment of student's course work, project work, and examinations, and maintain up-to-date and accurate records of their progress and achievement.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience teaching in e-commerce or related fields
∎ Expertise with the different social media platforms and ads tools.
∎ Knowledge of business marketing
∎ Knowledge of relevant software for web designing, and Adobe and Microsoft packages.
∎ Knowledge and proven experience of e-commerce platforms, building websites, and setting up of effective online retail platforms.
∎ Should be tech-savvy and require to be up-to-date with the latest developments in the field

Salary: Tk. 25000 (Monthly)
