Job Context:
∎ Inclusive livelihood opportunity for Covid-19 affected households in three districts of Bangladesh is a one-year project under Muslim Aid UK, Bangladesh Field Office (MABFO) which aims to equip its technical and vocational institutes with more resources to train community members and help them gain the skill they would require getting into a job. The development of skills can contribute to structural transformation and economic growth by enhancing employability and labor productivity of the community during Covid-19 situation. Investment in a high-quality workforce can create a virtuous cycle, where relevant and quality skills enable productivity growth which result in more and better jobs for the current workforce and more public and private investment in the non-traditional skills. This project will facilitate Muslim Aid Institute of Technology (MAIT) in Jashore, Rangpur, Mirpur and Mohammdpur under MABFO to increase the employability and productivity for both the current and future workforce.
∎ This 12 months project will take the initiative to increase livelihood opportunities for youth and families across 3 districts in Bangladesh, by supporting MAIT in Jashore/Rangpur/Mirpur/Mohammadpur through updating their facilities, delivering 12 livelihood training modules, alongside additional business materials for selected trades, conducting a job fair, supporting beneficiaries with covid-19 materials, conducting a covid-19 impact study on the TVET sector, and providing cash grant to selected families.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate and guide the students of his/her own class.
∎ Provide training independently as per CBT&A method
∎ Class distribution and Routine preparation.
∎ Preparing the Lesson Plan, Job sheet, Handout, Formative & Summative Assessment Tools according to the CS & CBLM and present to the section in-charge for approval.
∎ Maintain all Registers (Attendance Register, Record Register, Lesson Plan Register, Notice Register, Student Portfolio File etc.)
∎ Design course syllabi, lecture videos, weekly quizzes, discussion forum, and exams
∎ Deliver course materials and learning assessments in the online format
∎ Utilize innovative classroom techniques and methodologies that involve students in challenging learning opportunities;
∎ Prepares class sessions and assignments to help students grasp course content and how it integrates with overall student learning outcomes for the course
∎ Observe and evaluate student performance in meeting course objectives and learning outcomes through assignments, projects, discussions, or examinations; provide feedback in a timely manner on student progress
∎ Maintain records of enrollment and attendance, assessments and grades, submit class rosters and grade sheets by the deadlines established by the MAIT
∎ Meet with the Principal as needed to discuss all aspects of the course including student progress and curriculum development (may be required to provide input into program development)
∎ Undertake monitoring and assessment of student's course work, project work, and examinations, and maintain up-to-date and accurate records of their progress and achievement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A minimum of three years of experience in relevant field.
∎ Experience teaching in marketing/advertising or related fields
∎ Experience with one or more of the following marketing & analytics platforms: Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Advertising Network, Adobe Omniture, Facebook Advertising, Marketo.
∎ Expertise with the different social media platforms and ads tools.
∎ For online teaching, experience with teaching fully online or in a hybrid format.
∎ Knowledge of data analytics, visualizations and reporting
∎ Knowledge on the ins and outs of display advertising
∎ Has deep knowledge of paid search, SEO, content strategy, and email marketing.
Salary: Tk. 18000 (Monthly)
