Professional Requirements:

Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC is hiring employees for the following areas with respective requirements:

Network Administrator:  CCNA, CCNP or higher professional certifications are highly desirable.

System and Storage Management: RHCSA/RHCE, VMWare VCP, CKA/CKAD, AIX and Storage relevant professional certifications are highly preferred.

DC & DR Eco-system Management: CDCP, CDCS professional certifications or Data Center specialist be added advantage.

Database Management:  Must have OCP certification in Oracle 12c / 19c or higher version. Oracle RAC, Exadata or Oracle Enterprise Manager skills or certification will be added advantage.

Application Service Management: Must have Kubernetes Administrator professional certification.

Application Implementation and Upgradation: Must have programming language knowledge in PL/SQL, JAVA, and Python. OCP certification will be added advantage.

Area of Experience:

Network Administrator:  2-3 years professional experience in firewall, load balance and network segmentation.  Hands-on experience about OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VPN and WAN in banking or financial sector will be added advantage.

System and Storage Management: 3-7 years practical experience in Unix and Linux, VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift administration. Proven experience in managing enterprise level storage including SAN fabric, LUN provisioning and backup integration.

DC & DR Eco-system Management: 3-7 years Data Center practical operations, facilities maintenance or infrastructure management.  Experience in UPS, precision AC, fire system, access control and Tier-III/IV Data Center management in financial institutions.

Database Management: 4-8 years dedicated experience as DBA in bank, manages large scale databases, Active Data Guard, ASM, Flashback, RMAN, EXPDP, IMPDP and audit compliance on Linux/Unix platform. Must have OCP certification in Oracle 12c / 19c or higher version. Oracle RAC, Exadata or Oracle Enterprise Manager skills or certification will be added advantage.

Application Service Management: 4-7 years professional experience in Kubernetes administration, deployment, and troubleshooting. Proficient in setup and manage CI/CD and familiar with monitoring tools etc.

Application Implementation and Upgradation: 4-7 years professional experience in PL/SQL, database basic tuning, JAVA, Python, Jenkins, OOP and Gitlab.  Experience in spring and Java EE framework and front-end technologies (Angular, React, Vue.js etc.

Network Administrator:  Design, configure and manage enterprise level LAN/WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, load balancer, firewall, VPN, VLAN, NAT and routing protocols. Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting problem and maintain work documentation. Collaborate with the DevOps, security and Data Center teams to support infrastructure requirements.

System and Storage Management: Design, deploy, configure, manage and administer AIX, RHEL, VMWare platform and Kubernetes/OpenShift container-based applications. Configure and manage SAN/NAS along with provisioning, tuning, replication and snapshot. Perform system upgrades, patching and monitoring systems. Implement and manage backup, restore, security and disaster recovery strategies for servers and storage(s). Maintain details work documentation about system health check, audit and security standard and troubleshooting.

DC & DR Eco-system Management: Perform 24/7 roster duty at data center/ disaster recover site to ensure infrastructure(s) operation availability including power, cooling and security systems. Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance and incident response for electrical, mechanical and IT support infrastructure. Monitor and maintain data center environment, logs, auditing and documentation. Support other’s team(s) to complete their activities in Data Center.

Database Management:  Install, configure, administer and manage Oracle Database (12c / 19c or later) patch, upgradation, Data Guard and disaster recovery site.  Implement and manage RMAN, EXPDP/IMPDP backups and restoration and performance tuning. Ensure database security, access control, auditing, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Perform, monitor and manage tablespace, disk space, schema and capacity planning. Maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, backups logs and audit records.  

Application Service Management: Design Implement and manage robust, scalable and CI/CD pipelines for various applications. Optimize container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) ensuring high availability, performance and scalability. Monitor system performance, application health and infrastructure metrics, setting up alerts and dashboards for proactive issue detection. Ensure security best practices are integrated into all stages of the DevOps lifecycle including vulnerability scanning and access control. Monitor system’s log and maintain details work documentation.

Application Implementation and Upgradation: Application upgradation, enhancement and migration to latest technology stacks by focusing on java platforms. Perform database related activities; schema design, query optimization, package / procedure upgradation along with PL/SQL code debug. Collaborate with the business team, solution architects and quality assurance teams to understanding the requirements and ensure successful deployment. Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issue(s) in existing application and database efficiently. Write clean, well-documented and efficient code adhering to coding standard and best practices.
