Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree, preferable in humanitarian action, management, social sciences, international relations, research, or international development.
∎ Bachelor's degree with an additional 2 years' experience will be accepted instead.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements:
∎ Five years of experience in the humanitarian sector, of which a minimum of three must be on humanitarian research, preferably in a multi-sector/multi-agency setting
∎ At least two years of experience working in humanitarian operations in UN or INGO systems
∎ At least two years of experience in information management
∎ At least two years of experience in research and analysis design
∎ Significant experience with both primary and secondary data analysis processes
∎ Proven ability and experience working with a wide range of data types
∎ Proven ability to deliver against targets and meet deadlines
∎ Demonstrated ability to work effectively in protracted crises
∎ Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment
∎ Ability to work in complex and multi-cultural environments
∎ Excellent drafting skills
∎ Fluent written and spoken English language skills
∎ Experience with qualitative data analysis software (NVivo)
∎ Experience living/working in Bangladesh or the region
∎ Experience in data visualisation and GIS
