Key Responsibilities:
Supervising and leading a team: This includes delegating tasks, providing guidance and training, and conducting performance evaluations.
Managing customer service: Addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Overseeing repair and maintenance: Ensuring that all work is completed to the required standard, on time, and efficiently.
Managing inventory and parts: Monitoring stock levels, ordering parts, and managing the parts department.
Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment: Implementing and enforcing safety protocols, ensuring proper maintenance of equipment, and complying with all relevant regulations.
Managing finances and budgets: Monitoring expenses, controlling costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Ensuring efficient workflow and productivity: Optimizing processes, scheduling work, and monitoring key performance indicators.
Maintaining accurate records: Tracking service orders, parts inventory, and other relevant data.
Developing and implementing strategies: To increase service productivity, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance overall workshop performance.
Working with SCM, vendors and suppliers: Coordinating with respective departments including SCM, parts suppliers and other vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality control following company’s guidelines and practices.
Staying up-to-date on industry trends: Continuously learning about new technologies, repair techniques, and best practices.
Handling administrative tasks: Processing paperwork, managing schedules, and maintaining all relevant records.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Addressing any issues that arise during the repair process, both technical and operational.
Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures: Ensuring that all repairs meet the required standards and minimizing comebacks.
