Responsibilities & Context:
Production:
- Follow up the daily production progress, overseeing it, and looking into any issues or gaps between actual production and the set targets within the planned time period.
- Lead and supervise all aspects of daily Chemical/Resin Production operations to ensure optimal productivity, cost-efficiency, and timely output.
- Acknowledgement of the order quantity in advance for making production plan and to liaise with the Management and to give necessary directives to the Production Manager regarding the production plan.
- Develop and train new staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely production records, reporting on KPIs including yield, downtime, and material usage.
- To make necessary arrangement of training for the subordinates in order to increase the production capability by following modern production procedure.
- To ensure proper planning to assure smooth operation within the team Direct and control the improvement of production processes & reduce all types of wastage by proper planning.
- Good knowledge on technically problem-solving ability with required quality standard.
- Ensure daily, weekly & monthly production as per planning.
- Supervise production floor for highest level of productivity given by management.
- Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace.
- Maintain with research and development Department for innovation of new product line automation to reduce cost and overall development.
- Have to improve profitability by identifying cost reduction opportunities through integrated production planning, information support and analysis.
- Monthly performance status report preparation.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
- Mechanical:
- To follow up machinery’s erection & installation.
- To keep all machineries in good shape.
- Responsible for the end-to end process of the dept Installations, Commissioning, Erection & Maintenance Planning, designing and executing routine works.
- Supervision of maintenance of all mechanical items, Machineries, Plant so that those will become fit for production from next week.
- Maintain and troubleshooting of the mechanical functions of Machineries.
- Attend all mechanical breakdown and trouble-shooting works of all production & utility machines to minimize production loss.
- Developing Mechanical maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation.
- To monitor spare parts inventory on shop-floor and store.
- To be responsible for overall mechanical functions of the factory.
