Education:
  • MBA/ Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.

  • Professional certifications/training in HR. Advance HR certification as HR Generalist or SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR will get advantage.

Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Minimum 5–8 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a generalist role managing multiple HR functions in group of companies.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and HRIS/HR software (SAP, Odoo etc. preferred).

  • Excellent communication skill in speaking, writing & email in both English & Bangla.

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, Bangladesh Labor Laws, and HR operations.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with utmost integrity.

  • Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and process-driven mindset.

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.



Responsibilities & Context:

The HR Generalist will be responsible for leading and managing a broad spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, HR operations, employee relations, performance management, compliance, policy implementation, and organizational development. This role supports strategic HR initiatives while ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations across the organization. The position requires strong leadership, analytical skills and the ability to work closely with employees and management at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & HRIS Management

  • Oversee HR operations including attendance, leave management, payroll inputs and HR documentation.

  • Ensure accuracy of employee records, HRIS data, personnel files and master databases.

  • Supervise issuance of official letters, memos, office orders and disciplinary documents.

  • Ensure seamless coordination with payroll and accounts teams for monthly salary processing.

Payroll Management

  • Oversee payroll-related activities including data verification, statutory compliance and coordination with Finance for processing.

  • Ensure timely submission of monthly payroll inputs to the Accounts/Payroll team and verify payroll accuracy prior to disbursement.

  • Maintain all payroll-related records, employee salary files and confidential compensation data.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances and conflict resolution.

  • Promote a positive work culture through engagement programs, welfare activities and communication initiatives.

  • Conduct exit interviews and retention analysis to reduce attrition.

Performance Management

  • Drive the performance appraisal cycle, including KPI setting, evaluation and feedback facilitation.

  • Support department heads in developing performance improvement plans (PIPs) and talent development initiatives.

  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training and development programs.

Compliance & Policy Implementation

  • Ensure HR practices comply with Bangladesh Labor Law, organizational policies and audit requirements.

  • Update and implement HR policies, SOPs and procedures as needed.

  • Prepare and support internal and external HR audits by ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

Reporting & HR Analytics

  • Generate and analyze HR reports such as headcount, turnover, hiring matrices, payroll summaries, attendance trends and other HR dashboards.

  • Use HR analytics to support management decisions and improve HR processes.

Strategic HR Support

  • Contribute to organizational planning, restructuring, manpower budgeting and HR strategy development.

  • Support change management initiatives and culture-building programs aligned with organizational goals.
