Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Management (MBM)
∎ Master's Degree, preferably in Business Administration or related field from any govt. recognized university.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Following the GK HR policies as well as local laws and best practices in the international NGO community. Ensure that staff are made aware of these policies and interpret them as necessary or requested by staff.
∎ Execute the tasks of the recruitment, selection and onboarding of all new staff including review of job descriptions, advertisements, screening of applications, interview, and selection process, reference checks, and contracting.
∎ Develop and coordinate orientation schedules for all new staff
∎ Prepare and update employment agreements ensuring that they are in keeping with local law and GK's practices.
∎ Provide day-to-day administration of staff benefits and answer queries from staff regarding benefits
∎ Update employee status for payroll purposes.
∎ Compile payroll details every month and the changes thereof and liaise with the HR & Finance team in Cox's Bazar office (as appropriate)
∎ Work closely with employee's supervisors for Staff Performance Evaluation and take necessary actions (salary increase, promotions, reassignments and separation of employee).
∎ Ensure effective administration of the performance management processes including disciplinary issues, appraisals after the probation period (if required)
∎ Draft and process staff and consultant contracts, including rate negotiation.
∎ Maintain HR database and Personnel files.
∎ Maintain up to date employee records in both electronic and hard copy files and ensure the files are complete and all required documentation is maintained in a confidential and secure manner
∎ Provide backstopping support to staff on HR system including; updating staff records, timely approval of staff leaves, and timely submission of monthly timesheets
∎ Handle employee grievances and coordinate all exit procedures for staff leaving GK project.
∎ Deal with day to day administrative responsibilities and acknowledge the top authority accordingly
∎ Assume other responsibilities as assigned
∎ Special Note
∎ Carry out any additional assignment in accordance with her/his position entrusted by the Coordinator of GK from time to time and mutually agreed upon;
∎ Management may, at any point of time, modify this job description as it is deemed necessary in Gonoshasthaya Kendra's interests in consultation with incumbent.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 1-year working experience on Rohingya camp will be preferred
∎ Good organizational and communication skills.
∎ Ability to cope with stress working in the camp environment.
∎ Flexibility to perform other tasks and take initiative when required.
∎ Cultural awareness/sensitivity and empathy to the target population.
∎ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Strong communication skills in English, Bangla, and Rohingya dialect (preferred).
